Ingredients

Base Tea

2 | cups | hot water

1 | tea bag | black, green, or herbal

Citrus

1 | lemon | sliced

1 | orange | sliced

grapefruit or blood orange | optional

2–3 | tbsp | honey | adjust to taste

Instructions

  • Steep tea bag in hot water for 3–5 minutes
  • Remove tea bag and stir in honey while tea is still hot.
  • Add lemon and orange slices directly to the mug.
  • Add ginger, cinnamon, turmeric, or cloves if using.
  • Let steep for 2–3 minutes, then serve warm.

Notes

  • Use fresh citrus slices for best flavor and aroma
  • Herbal tea makes this caffeine-free
  • Blood oranges add beautiful color
  • Adjust honey to taste
  • Store leftovers in the fridge up to 24 hours and reheat gently
