Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1 Juice of fresh lime
  • 1–2 thin slices fresh red chili
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tbsp honey or agave
  • ½–1 cup sparkling water
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Add pineapple chunks, lime juice, grated ginger, and honey to a blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Strain mixture if a smoother texture is preferred.=
  • Stir in 1–2 thin slices of red chili and let infuse for 2–3 minutes. Taste and adjust spice level.
  • Fill tall glasses with ice.
  • Pour pineapple-lime mixture halfway into each glass.
  • Top with sparkling water and stir gently.
  • Garnish with lime wheels or pineapple wedges. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Start with one chili slice for mild heat.
  • Replace sparkling water with tonic for a slightly bitter twist.
  • Add white rum or tequila for a cocktail variation.
  • Serve immediately to preserve carbonation.
  • Store base (without sparkling water) in fridge for up to 24 hours.
