Equipment

  • Tall glass
  • Coffee maker or espresso machine
  • Small bowl or cup
  • Spoon or whisk

Ingredients

  • 1 shot espresso or strong brewed coffee
  • ¾ Cup milk of choice
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1–2 tsp brown sugar or simple syrup
  • 1 cup ice

Instructions

  • Brew espresso or strong coffee and let it cool slightly so it doesn’t melt the ice too quickly.
  • In a small bowl, mix cinnamon, brown sugar (or syrup), and vanilla extract until smooth to fully dissolve the cinnamon.
  • Fill a tall glass completely with ice.
  • Pour the cooled coffee over the ice.
  • Add milk slowly until the drink reaches a light tan color.
  • Stir in the cinnamon-vanilla mixture until fully combined.
  • Top with whipped cream or a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use strong coffee to prevent dilution
  • Mix cinnamon with sweetener first to avoid grainy texture
  • Whole milk or oat milk gives the creamiest result
  • Adjust sweetness gradually to taste
  • Best served fresh over full ice
  • Clear glasses highlight the café-style look
