- 1 cup strong brewed coffee
- ½ cup milk or cream of choice
- ½ tsp vanilla extract or vanilla syrup
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 cup ice
- 1–2 tsp sugar, maple syrup, or sweetener
Brew strong coffee and allow it to cool completely if using hot coffee.

Pour coffee over the ice.
Add milk or cream and stir gently.
Stir in vanilla and optional sweetener.
Add a very small pinch of salt and stir well.
Taste and adjust sweetness or salt if needed. Serve immediately.
- Use strong coffee to prevent ice from diluting flavor
- Start with just 2–3 grains of salt and adjust carefully
- Cold brew creates a smoother, less acidic drink
- Real vanilla extract tastes better than artificial flavoring
- Dissolve sweetener before adding ice for smoother texture
- Works with dairy or plant-based milk
- Optional garnish: light sprinkle of sea salt or vanilla cream foam
