- 2 oz vanilla vodka
- 1 oz chocolate liqueur
- 1 oz Irish cream or white chocolate liqueur
- 1 oz half-and-half or heavy cream
- ½ tsp cocoa powder
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1-2 drops red food coloring | optional
Place martini glass in the freezer to chill while preparing the drink.
(Optional) Rim the glass by dipping it into simple syrup or water, then into crushed cookies or sugar.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add vanilla vodka, chocolate liqueur, Irish cream, cream, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and red food coloring if using.
Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until well chilled and slightly frothy.
Strain into the chilled martini glass.
Garnish with whipped cream or red velvet cake crumbs if desired. Serve immediately.
