Ingredients

  • 4 fresh oranges (juiced)
  • ¼ cup orange crush or orange squash syrup
  • 3–4 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 3 cups cold water or soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1–2 cups ice cubes

Instructions

  • Wash and juice the oranges. Strain the juice if you prefer a smoother textu
  • In a large jug, combine fresh orange juice, orange crush syrup, and sugar. Stir well until the sugar dissolves completely.
  • Add a small pinch of salt and mix gently. This enhances the citrus flavor without making the drink salty.
  • Slowly add chilled water or soda, stirring and tasting as you go to reach your preferred strength
  • Add ice cubes generously. Garnish with mint leaves or orange slices if desired.
  • Serve immediately while ice-cold.
