Tall glass
Spoon
Measuring cups
- 1 cup ice
- ¾ cup sparkling water or club soda (cold)
- ¼ cup flavored syrup (vanilla, strawberry, raspberry, peach, or orange)
- 2–3 tbsp heavy cream or half-and-half
Fill a tall glass about ¾ full with ice.
Pour flavored syrup directly over the ice.
Slowly add cold sparkling water, pouring down the side of the glass to preserve carbonation.
Gently pour cream over the soda and watch it swirl.
Stir once or twice gently. Top with whipped cream if desired and serve immediately.
- Use cold sparkling water for best fizz
- Add cream last for the best visual swirl
- Do not over-stir to prevent flattening
- Adjust syrup amount to control sweetness
- Best enjoyed immediately after making
- Dairy-free creamers work well as substitutes
