- 2 cups fresh or frozen blackberries
- 3–4 cups cold water
- 2–4 tbsp honey, sugar, or maple syrup
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Add blackberries and 2 cups of cold water to a blender. Blend until completely smooth.
Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl or pitcher. Press with a spoon to extract all juice and remove seeds.
Stir in sweetener and fresh lemon juice. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
Add remaining water to reach desired consistency. Stir well.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Pour over ice and garnish with fresh berries or lemon slices if desired.
- Use ripe blackberries for best flavor.
- Replace half the water with sparkling water for a fizzy blackberry spritzer.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3–4 days.
- Freeze into ice cubes for smoothies or flavored water.
- For thicker juice, skip the straining step.
