- 1 shot espresso or ¼ cup strong brewed coffee
- 1 cup milk (whole, almond, or oat)
- 1–2 tbsp cherry blossom syrup
Brew one shot of espresso or prepare strong brewed coffee. Set aside while you prepare the milk.
Heat milk until steaming but not boiling. Froth using a milk frother, French press, or whisk until creamy and foamy.
Add cherry blossom syrup to your serving cup. Adjust amount based on desired sweetness.
Pour hot espresso over the syrup, stirring gently to combine.
Slowly pour the frothed milk into the cup. Spoon foam on top for a café-style finish.
Garnish with edible cherry blossom petals, whipped cream, or pink sugar if desired. Serve immediately.
- Start with less syrup and adjust gradually
- Whole milk creates the creamiest texture
- Oat milk adds natural sweetness
- Best enjoyed fresh for maximum floral aroma
- Skip espresso for a kid-friendly milk version
