Citrus juicer
- 2 oz tequila (silver or reposado)
- 1 oz fresh blood orange juice
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- ½ oz triple sec or orange liqueur
- ½ oz simple syrup
- Ice cubes
Run a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks glass. Dip rim into coarse salt or sugar if desired.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
Add tequila, blood orange juice, lime juice, triple sec, and simple syrup (if using).
Shake firmly for 15 seconds until chilled.
Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
Garnish with a blood orange slice and serve immediately.
