Whisk or spoon
- 1 Cup apple cider | not apple juice
- ½ Cup milk | whole, oat or almond
- 1 Bag chai tea | or 1 tbsp loose chai
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- apple pie spice | pinch, optional
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine apple cider and milk. Heat gently until steaming. Do not boil.
Add the chai tea bag and let steep for 3–5 minutes, depending on desired strength.
Remove the tea bag and stir in brown sugar, vanilla extract, and apple pie spice if using.
Taste and adjust sweetness or spice as desired.
Pour into a mug and top with whipped cream, cinnamon, caramel drizzle, or apple slices. Serve warm.
- Use fresh refrigerated apple cider for the best flavor
- Half & half makes it extra creamy
- Oat milk works beautifully for a dairy-free version
- For iced version, cool completely and serve over ice
- Non-alcoholic and family-friendly
