Ingredients

  • 1 Cup apple cider | not apple juice
  • ½ Cup milk | whole, oat or almond
  • 1 Bag chai tea | or 1 tbsp loose chai
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • apple pie spice | pinch, optional

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine apple cider and milk. Heat gently until steaming. Do not boil.
  • Add the chai tea bag and let steep for 3–5 minutes, depending on desired strength.
  • Remove the tea bag and stir in brown sugar, vanilla extract, and apple pie spice if using.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness or spice as desired.
  • Pour into a mug and top with whipped cream, cinnamon, caramel drizzle, or apple slices. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use fresh refrigerated apple cider for the best flavor
  • Half & half makes it extra creamy
  • Oat milk works beautifully for a dairy-free version
  • For iced version, cool completely and serve over ice
